Ivy Lanhardt

Faculty

Ivy Lanhardt started dancing at the age of 2 and studied multiple types of dance including jazz, ballet, lyrical, and modern. She began her dance journey with competitive dance when she was 7 at Just Plain Dancin' in Corona. She was one of the first students at YLAB when the studio opened to gain extra ballet training. At the age of 13 she began to train full time with ballet and contemporary. She attended yearly ballet competitions and received multiple scholarships for summer intensives and pre professional programs. Ivy was a 2023 candidate for the Prix De Lausanne in Switzerland. Only 6 girls from the United States were selected out of 80 world candidates. She then went to Ballet West Academy in Utah to train in their pre professional division from 2023-2024. She trained with Nevada Ballet Theater in their Second Company from 2024-2025. Ivy is now pursuing college and starting a new chapter. She has a great passion for ballet as well as teaching children whom she hopes to inspire.
