Conservatory and Junior Company
YLAB is thrilled to introduce our new Conservatory Program, designed for dancers with pre-professional goals. This non-competitive program offers rigorous classical ballet training, focusing on building technical proficiency through meticulous consistency and cultivating each dancer's unique artistic voice.
Our holistic approach integrates various methodologies with performance opportunities to prepare committed students not only for professional dance careers but also instill a life long love and appreciation for the art of classical ballet.
This is truly a unique opportunity to have the camaraderie of being on a team but still have the intimacy that allows for ample individualized attention that the pre-professional student needs to thrive.
Junior Company
Our Junior Company is designed for dancers who are interested in competing and are working towards becoming pre-professional or professional dancers.
While being in Junior Company you will be able to have one on one time with our faculty, performance opportunities, and exceptional training for the best outcome.
Junior Company members are required to participate in Nutcracker, competitions and also get the opportunity to get multiple privates a week with our staff.
Conservatory
-Ages 11 and up (exceptions by invite only)
-Sept-June commitment
-Mandatory Nutcracker participation
-Minimum 5 classes per week; 6 or 7 recommended
-Mandatory classes: Pre-pointe or pointe, PBT, two technique classes (3-4 recommended)
